Biography:
Luke Cage, portrayed by Mike Colter, is a central character in the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). His first appearance was in the TV Show, Jessica Jones, before headlining his own eponymous series.
Carl Lucas was wrongly convicted and incarcerated at Seagate Prison. While imprisoned, he volunteered for an experimental procedure conducted by Dr. Noah Burstein, aiming to accelerate cellular regeneration. The experiment was sabotaged, granting Lucas superhuman strength and unbreakable skin.
